History

In 2014, Maine Attraction performed their show "Believe" and competed in the MBDA and NESBA Circuits.  They also attend 2 W.G.I regionals and the W.G.I. World Championships in Datyon, OH.  They were gold medalists in the MBDA circuit and once again, NESBA favorites!
 
In 2013, Maine Attraction performed their show "Brand New Day" and competed in the MBDA and NESBA circuits.  Yet another successful season for the group who were Gold Medalists at the MBDA Championships and NESBA favorites!
 

 

In 2012, Maine Attraction performed their show " A City Life - Rhapsody in Blue" and competed in the MBDA and NESBA circuits.  Another successful season for the group who won many competitions over the season and captured a WGI regional championship!
 
In 2011, Maine Attraction performed their show "At the Dance" with music by Rhianna and competed in the MBDA and NESBA circuits.  Another great season for the group brought them the Independent Regional A championship in the NESBA circuit.
 
 
 
 
In 2010, Maine Attraction performed their show "Big Love" and competed in the MBDA and NESBA circuits and performed at the W.G.I. Salem Regional.  It was an excellent season for the group where they pleased crowds at every performance!
 
In 2009, the guard participated once again in Eastern Mass and select W.G.I Regionals performing their 2009 show "Glassworks". This was the guard's second year in the Independent A class.
 
 
 
 
In 2008, Maine Attraction returned to the Independent A class and performed in the Eastern Mass circuit. They also participated in the W.G.I. New England Regional where they were Independent A Class Finalists, the W.G.I. Trumbull Regional, and the W.G.I. World Championships in Dayton, OH! It was an exciting year and the guard made excellent progress!
 
In 2006, original management and members of the guard decided to revive the colorguard for the 2007 season. The guard consisted of 25 members from the southern Maine area. In 2007, the guard competed in the Maine, Eastern Mass and NESBA circuits. They were crowned the Class "B" champions in Eastern Mass and were awarded the best section awards for Flag, Rifle and Sabre.
